One of the things I love most about working on pieces with the town motif is that I get to play with shape and negative space. It's akin to building blocks, just flat … arranging hard angled triangles and squares with breezier smoke and waterways. It's a great time. I highly recommend it.
This bowl is wheel thrown, stoneware, painted with celadon colored slip and a Blood Orange underglaze then hand carved to reveal the town scene. The interior is lined with Anyhow Studio's London Fog glaze.
Measurements: 5.75" x 5.75" x 3.5"
All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, tho handwashing is reccomended.
