Logs, Cabin

Hand built, stoneware plate featuring a cabin amidst logs and stumps that has been carved into underglaze and slip.

Most of the suns that are on my pieces are Amaco's Blood Orange underglaze. It's one of my favorite colors as it speaks to my great paint love, cadmium red light. It's a pretty powerful color and this time around I was curious to see how it would behave under a dark slip. The result is this sort of 70's style vampire novel/animated Watership down-type sun. I'm into it.

Measurement: 6.5" x 3.5" x .25"

All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, tho handwashing is reccomended.
